Hi babes! This post is a tad overdue but nonetheless, that doesn’t make any difference about how amazing these two Gosh items are. Gosh Cosmetics is fast becoming one of my favourite makeup brands, so much so that it’s one of the first makeup stands I check out whenever I visit my closets Edgars store.
The team over at Gosh were kind enough to send over two products for me to try, that being their new Gosh Giant blush in the shade “Shy” – Co-incidentally being the same blush I got for my birthday from my dear friend Leandra from At a Loss for Words, but I messed up taking pictures of it in my rush to stick my fingers in and try the blush out already, it was just sooo gorgeous. The second product is the Gosh Forever Lip Shine in “Spring Fling”. I was really excited about this one as well as I’ve used the Forever Eye Shadow before and I loved it, you can read how much over here!
So lets jump into the reviews…
Gosh Giant Blush
First off, how much do we love the packaging?! I love everything that looks like a crayon and this being a giant crayon makes it just that much more exciting. The packaging is black for the most part with some white signage on the side, a pink bottom completes the sleek feel. The blush extends by turning the pink end, just like a lipstick.
This cream blush has an amazingly creamy texture, it just glides on like butter, the pigmentation is really mild and it’s really easily blended. As you can see from the swatches in the image below, the colour payoff is a really soft feminine pink that gives a lovely soft pink glow once blended.
Gosh Forever Lip Shine
Another makeup item that looks like a crayon! Just in case you where wondering why I love the crayon design so much, they are just so easy to store and really convenient to pack when traveling. Once again I love the packaging, the red of the tube is a near to perfect match for the lippy shade inside. The lip shine extends as well by twisting the bottom and the shape of the tip makes for easy application.
The formula of this lip shine is creamy and it glides onto my lips really smoothly. I love how pigmented this product is, the colour payoff is amazing and the shade of red suits my skin tone so well. I was really impressed as well about the staying power, the lip shine lasts for around 6 hours before needing re-application. I would really love to get this lip shine in a pink shade as well.
As you can see both products are great quality and they don’t cost an arm and a leg. The best part is that Gosh doesn’t test on animals and we just love brands that doesn’t, right ladies?! Gosh Cosmetics are exclusively sold at Edgars and Red Square stores.
