Hi lovelies, I’m proud to announce that no longer have cotton candy hair thanks to John Frieda Frizz Ease! If you struggle with Frizz you will know exactly what I mean with cotton candy hair. So if you struggle with extreme frizz read on. I was skeptical at first but a month later, I’m loving my hair again.

My hair was in such a bad state that I couldn’t even air dry my hair. It was so frizzy and unmanageable that I actually considered having it cut as short as necessary just to get rid of the frizz. The main reason for my frizz was that I had highlights done and it dried my hair. On the day I had a treatment done to counteract the damage but as time went by the Frizz just kept getting worse and finally out of control.

I started using the John Frieda Frizz Ease range but didn’t immediately see any difference and kept using it for about a month. Now I am so happy I did. My hair is so manageable.  I can air dry, blow dry and style as I want and my hair looks amazingly healthy.

I’ve been using the Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner together with the Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner, Nourishing Oil Elixir and 100% Glossing Mist and I will give you a breakdown on each one.

Forever Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner

John Frieda Says: With ground-breaking Frizz Immunity Complex, this revolutionary Shampoo & Conditioner deeply penetrates hair fibers to help combat the porosity of frizzy hair, and builds an internal barrier to build frizz immunity with every use. With a blend of pure coconut oil and conditioning agents, the shampoo & conditioner works hard to strengthen your hair’s immunity to fight the onset of frizz from the inside out, improving your hair’s texture and manageability, for noticeably smoother hair.

I say: The Shampoo & Conditioner is softly fragranced and smells lovely. The shampoo lathers up really well and the conditioner left my hair soft from the start. The only problem I have is that the tubes are a little bit hard to open.

Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner

John Frieda Says: Visibly repair and fortify dry, heat-damaged, frizzy hair and help protect against breakage. Formulated with our Amino Repair Complex, Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner is an intense weekly treatment that leaves hair moisturised, silky, and shiny.

I Say: I use the Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner once a week. It has the same lovely fragrance and gives me a good reason to take an extra long bath. I am convinced this treatment played a huge role in my hair’s recovery. On days I use it my hair is extra controllable.

Nourishing Oil Elixir

John Frieda Says: Nourish dry, damaged and frizzy hair with this luxurious oil elixir, enriched with Argan oil. For soft, lustrous hair that’s 50% smoother. Expertly formulated with a special blend of silicones and essential heat protection, each drop deeply nourishes dehydrated strands, while controlling frizzy flyaways, for healthy hair that glistens with opulence and nourishment.

I Say: The Oil Elixir goes a really long way as the smallest amount is enough per use. I use it every other day on wet hair before drying just for that extra but of oemf and smoothness. I find it eases brushing as well.

100% Shine Glossing Mist

John Frieda Says: Flaunt polish that glistens with unstoppable shine. Expertly designed to target static frizz and flyaways, the non-greasy formula boosts dull and dry hair with a high-octane shine, without weighing your hair down.

I Say: When I’m going out for the day I finish my hair off with the 100% Shine Glossing Mist. The mist smells really great as well and works as a very very light hairspray. It keeps my fly aways in place and adds extra shine.

  1. I just featured the oil in my favourites! I love it. I’m definitely going to go and get more in the range. I agree on the tubes being hard to open. I have the brunette range shampoo and conditioner and I literally had to break the lid off. Glad to know it’s not me.

Love the pictures and review 🙂

    1. Thank you lovely lady! I am so scared that I will break a nail when opening them, I use the tiles in the bathroom to pop them open haha. They need to place a little gap grip in the lid to make it easier to open.

  2. Interesting. I’m in a tropical climate, and I’m a big fan of bumble and bumble and living proof, but that’s going to become unaffordable fast. I may try this. Thanks.
